Windsor Palace Hotel

With panoramic view over the waterfront and the eastern harbour of Alexandria, newly restored Windsor Palace Hotel which was built in 1906 is today one of the splendid Heritage hotels in this ancient city.

The facade is a masterpiece in itself, and its only a short walk to the Raml Railway station and the heart of Alexandria's business district.

Reception area.

Coming in to the elegant reception you will know that you also are close to the Greek Roman Museum, Kayed Bey Citadel and Bibliotheca Alexandria.

The outdoor restaurant.

Restaurants, a side street cafe and Irish Pub along with business centre and the Queen Elizabeth Hall that can host up to 200 persons for a cocktail.

Breakfast on the veranda.

Its difficult to imagine many places that can equal a breakfast on a veranda at Windsor Palace Hotel.

Hotel room.

The hotel has 76 Deluxe Rooms and Suites. Standard rooms with self controlled air condition, direct phone line and satellite television. All Deluxe, Superior rooms and suites have further private balcony, private phone and fax line.

Please be aware that for the summer time one should book long time in advance. Still a holiday in Alexandria outside the peak summer season is pleasantly away from mass tourism and very close to the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.
