Golden Tulip Flamenco Hotel
Although Flamenco Hotel is a four star hotel it can well be compared to many five star hotels. Add personal touch and service, then it comes very well out of most comparisons. It's not without reason it's one of our favourite hotels in Cairo.
| Hospitality from the entrance door and on. |
The hotel is located in the heart of the residence and embassy area of Zamalek at Gezira Island. Quite a number of the guests are long time staying, foreigners working in longer or shorter periods in Egypt.
| Reception area. |
It's exiting just to stroll along in the area. The Nile is just below the hotel and up the street you will find the Fine Art Academy in Cairo. As many foreigners live years in this area, one is not considered a @normal@ tourist either by most.
| Florencia restaurant. |
At tenth floor is Florencia Restaurant, reputed for its good a la carte menu. The coffee shop is open 24 hours a day and Carmen Lounge and Sevilla Bar is the place for a drink or a cold beer. Sevilla Club got billiard and darts if you want some "exercise"...
| Standard room. |
A total of 157 rooms are found at the hotel, all with air condition, direct phone, satellite television, minibar and Internet connection.
| Superior room. |
For a small addition to the price one can have a superior room with Nile view. These rooms got a sitting area which makes the stay a bit more comfortable.
| Meeting room. |
Business centre is part of the facilities at the hotel. For meetings and conferences the hotel got several meeting rooms where the largest takes up to 335 persons.
