Cairo Hotels
Direct to the Hotel List
Thousand years ago there was built a city wall between the five thousand year old capital of Memphis and the place where the sun god Aton was born. This city wall enclosed a new city called Al-Qahera "The Victorious", the city we today know as Cairo.
This metropolis with soon twenty million inhabitants is a pulsating conglomerate of people in every design and fashion embedded in legendary architecture. The traffic is said to be the only working anarchy in the world while most people you meet smiles however busy they may be. Don't forget that a good joke is the direct path to the Egyptian soul. You can find the proof for this in so many ways; one of Cairo's nicknames is a good example. When New York is called "the Big Apple" it's pretty logical for the inhabitants to call Africa's largest city for "the Big Mango".
Naturally you will find lot's of hotels in this city, and we have recommend some few of them below. If there is a specific hotel you miss among our selection - do let us know as we will book you a room on most (within a minimum quality level).
