Grand Hayatt Nile Tower Hotel

Grand Hayatt Nile Tower Hotel is a beautiful hotel literally in the middle of the Nile, downtown Cairo. Located on the north tip of Roda Island it's not many minutes walk from the hotel to the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. Some may know the hotel under its former name, "Meridien Cairo". Now it got a new 41 floor hotel tower with 620 rooms and the already legendary rotating restaurant on the top of the tower.

On the photo above you will be able to see the round restaurant on top of the high hotel tower. This restaurant rotates 360 degrees in an hour so one can see all of Cairo in clear weather. The pyramids of Giza to the west, up and down the Nile and the rest of Cairo - all while enjoying the good cuisine of the restaurant.

The large swimming pool give relaxation and privacy in the middle of town, and the hotel can boost with a smaller children pool as well. In the seventh and eight floor of the hotel you will find a large health club with two exercise areas, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi and more.

Reception and entrance hall in the new section opens the hotel to the Nile and have restaurant, coffee shop and bar.

Of the many restaurants in Grand Hayatt Nile Tower Hotel, Fontana in the reception area offer Mediterranean specialities and a la carte menu. Other restaurants offers Japanese, Indian, Italian cuisine and a fish restaurant which gets fresh fish from Alexandria on a daily basis.

A pub in English style, and of course a coffee bar offering good coffee, tea and cakes. The open air restaurant on the photo above is a very good place to be in the middle of the metropolis and still be able to relax in a peaceful environment.

Standard room.

The new hotel tower got 426 standard rooms, 4 king size suites, 155 royal club rooms, 6 diplomatic suites and 29 Nile suites. All rooms got of course everything one expects from a top five star hotel. Conference and meeting halls and rooms are available for smaller and larger events.
