Luxor Hotels

Ancient Waset, or Luxor as this former capital of Egypt is named today, is the largest outdoor museum in the world. Even hotels has become historical monuments here as Winter Palace which opened its doors for the first time in 1886.

Most hotels is located on the east bank which is the city side of Luxor. On the west bank of the Nile you find villages along with monuments and tombs you can use years to be able to see. A recommended minimum is to at least use one full day on the west bank and the other on the east.

 Old Winter Palace Hotel
Built in British Colonial style and opened in 1886. It soon became a favourite hotel for Royal families from Europe and the Orient. Today it is a fairy tale place with history around every corner.

 New Winter Palace Hotel
Built as a modern extension to Old Winter Palace. Both hotels are connected so you can walk from one of the hotels to the other from inside. Sharing the same large exotic garden and swimming pool.

 Pyramisa Isis Luxor Hotel
With its 440 rooms and 50 suites this hotel resort is with it's large garden located directly on the Nile bank in centre of town. Its own cruise ships goes from the dock by the hotel.

 Sheraton Luxor Resort
Sheraton is also located directly on the Nile bank with a large garden area in the centre of the town. 290 rooms, 92 chalet rooms and 6 suites.

 Mercure (Etap) Luxor Hotel
Located by the Nile cornice and close to the beautiful Luxor Museum, this very good hotel has a very central location. 89 rooms with garden or Nile view.

 Novotel Corolia Luxor Hotel
The hotel is located directly on the Nile bank and with its swimming pool floating on the Nile. Novotel got an own day cruise boat which offers cruise to Dendera.

 Tutotel Hotel
The hotel is located just up the street from Novotel and a three star hotel in its own class. 79 rooms and pool on the roof.
