Medinet Habu, or the "City of Habu" is one of the magnificent temples in Luxor that is not located in the male stream of masstourism. The area of Luxor west bank called Shaikh Abd El Gourna, is where most of the tombs of the Nobles ( officials, nobles and priests ) are located. Hatshepsut's Terrasse Temple is one of the most unique monuments in Egypt and an architectural achievement completely unprecedented worldwide. The temple complex of Karnak was originally named Iput-Isut (the most esteemed of Places) consists of three main enclosed temple areas and covers an area of about one square kilometre. In the middle of the city of Luxor you find Luxor temple. Although maybe the most excavated temple in the world, just by chance some few years ago it was here found several statues that had been placed under earth in Pharaonic times. The statues is so well preserved and unique that they got a own hall in Luxor Museum.
