The Tomb Chapel of Menna (No. 69):
Menna was a scribe of the fields under Pharaoh ThothMoses IV. It is in this tomb one can see the two quarreling girls in the field, and later one of the girls removing a thorn from the foot of the other (#A).
The agricultural scenes shows grain being handled and measured, the plowing the fields, sowing and reaping. The funeral and the pilgrimage to Abydos (#B) and not to forget the scenes from the fishing and fowling in the marshes (#C). Note Menna's daughter kneeling to pick a lotus flower from the rushes.

The Tomb Chapel of Nakht (No. 52):
Nakht was astronomer, chief of the granaries and the vineyards during the reign of Pharaoh ThothMoses IV. Nakht is buried here together with his wife Tawi, but although its one of the smallest tomb chapels and only one room decorated - its still one of the greatest treasures in Egypt.
We find the agricultural scenes through the seasons (#I), and also where Nakht organizes two teams of plowers. Another scene shows musicians (#II), the blind harper, a woman playing the lute, another the flute and the acrobatic dancing girls. Please take time to look at the communication between the participants here, and don't forget to look for the cat eating fish under a chair. Here the scenes from fishing and fowling (#III) are more intact than at the tomb of Menna, and here you will also find the whole process of making wine. The roof in the chapel is painted as different coloured mats.
