The Nile Valley
The Nile Valley is first of all holding most remains of the vast heritage of Ancient Egypt. Then its even more, the Greek and Roman time in Egypt, the Christian and Islamic culture - in short more than 5000 years of recorded history.

THE NILE DELTA
- is not truly part of the Nile valley, as the valley ends north of Cairo where the Nile splits into branches. The Nile branches create the delta area which widens out all the way till it reaches the Mediterranean Sea. So while the temples could not be built on dry desert land as in the valley further south, they stood on fertile and humid soil. This is the main reason why the Ancient Egyptian temples in the delta are not as intact as those in the Nile Valley. Still some are found here, and we do arrange tours for many reasons in the delta, among others to the few remains of the legendary cat temple in Bubastis (Pr-Bastet).
THE NILE VALLEY
After the White and the Blue Nile meets and gets together to the greater Nile in Khartoum it enters Egypt in what used to be the Nubian Kingdom. Today this is Lake Nasser which stretches from inside Sudan and all the way south to Aswan. Between Aswan and Abu Simbel there is today possible to follow luxury Lake Nasser Cruises the same way one can follow Nile Cruises between Aswan and Luxor. Aswan is also a great city to have a part of your Egypt holiday in and Luxor is the largest open door museum in the world with among others the gigantic Karnak temple, Valley of the Kings and not to forget the amazing tombs of the Nobles. Between Luxor and Cairo there are many majestic monuments as the Hathor temple in Dendera and one of the most important temples in Egypt, the Amun temple in Abydos. Minia is a place one should stay a night or two to see all the monuments found in this area. Cairo is in itself a legend from the Pyramids of Giza to all the monuments found here from early Christian times and up until today.
