Cairo includes articles about two tombs in the pyramids area and totally offroad the tourist track with the City of the Dead and a coffee shop that would make Salvador Dali turn in his egg.

There is even an forgotten travelogue by Henrik Ibsen. The author was invited to the opening of the Suez channel in 1869 and the tour went up the Nile all the way to Luxor.
