"Branded?"
What's that, and how does it work?

Some hotels are managed by a hotel management group which is part of a chain of hotels. We all have most likely heard names as Sheraton, Hilton and Oberoi. The hotel managament team which is recognized by their brand-name don't necessarily own each hotel building, but as the word say, they manage the hotel operation. In Egypt there is a known company as Pyramisa, they on the other side own their hotels and cruise ships. Still bottom line of all this is that there in Egypt are a number of hotels operating under one "brand name" (especially five and four star hotels, not that much three star hotels).

If you go to Egypt and will stay in several destinations as Cairo, Luxor and the Red Sea Resort of El Gouna. Then Sheraton would increase their sale if you stayed at Sheraton in all these destinations. Same if you want to go on a Nile Cruise rather than to El Gouna, then Pyramisa Hotels and Nile Cruises would benefit if you stayed with them in Cairo, Luxor and on the cruise.

Okay, that's nice that a hotel brand gets all the business, but what's in it for me you may say? As an individual you may or you may not get a better price if you contact a hotel brand. We have taken the work out of this for you and negotiated a "brand deal" with some brand names for a better price than you would have had alone (as we as an tour operator give ongoing bookings to the hotels). Hotel brand included in our deals are Sheraton Egypt, Oberoi Hotels Egypt and Pyramisa Hotels and Cruises.
