Sinai Peninsula Tours
The 61 thousand square kilometres (23 thousand square miles) Sinai peninsula is not only the meeting place between Africa and Asia as it's mediator between the Mediterranean in north and the Red Sea in south.
In pharaonic times the peninsula was often called the "Land of turquoise" due to mining done here, the road on the north coast was named "Way of Horus" and we know the southern part as the "Way of Moses".

The Red Sea is a Mecca for divers and it has the National Park Ras Muhammed on the south tip along with two protected areas further east. It is also this part of the peninsula that attracts main part of the tourism.

The Holy Family sought protection in Egpyt and came here via the northern "Way of Horus". In south Moses climbed the mountain which today holds his name, and later Chritianity built the famous St. Catherine Monastery. This monastery got a written protection from Prophet Mohammed in year 625 and was included in Unesco's World Heritage List in year 2002.

| Mediterranean palm beaches |
Palms and sunset as you seen it in thousand of tourist brochures is here actually palms by the Mediterranean Sea. Not how we are used to think about the Mediterranean Sea, but Al Arish and Sinai's North coast is known for its beautiful palm beaches. Add to this the Bedouin life, and in Al Arish there is a weekly authentic Bedouin market along with a very good Bedouin museum.
There is nice beaches in the tourist resorts in the south, but Sinai is not stopping there...
